AI Agents Power Index — methodology

The Fieldtested Power Index ranks 25–40 AI agent platforms monthly on a 0–10 composite score derived from 5 sub-metrics. All inputs are reproducible from public data.

Vendor inclusion

A vendor is included when it: (1) operates an AI agent platform or framework, (2) has a public domain trackable in Semrush, and (3) is in active business. The inclusion list is versioned in scripts/indices/vendors.json.

Reproducibility

Each issue archives its raw data file (e.g., src/data/indices/agents/2026-06.json) and links to the methodology version active at the time. Independent recomputation from public APIs is possible with the published weights.
